Chocolate Craze for Valentine’s Day

It’s that time of year again… Valentine’s Day. Love it or hate it I think we all can appreciate the emphasis on chocolate this time of year. So we thought we would lend a helping hand and suggest a few great places that offer the best chocolate you can eat! Make sure you pick some up for that special someone or you can just treat yourself!

* Jacques Torres Chocolate – New York City
o 66 Water Street – You can watch the delicious chocolates being made right in front of you!
* Chocolate Covered – San Francisco
o 4069 24th Street – They even carry peanut butter & bacon chocolates!
* LA Burdick Chocolate Café – Boston
o 52 Brattle Street – Hot chocolate may be their specialty but they offer great chocolate desserts as well!
* Canady Le Chocolatier – Chicago
o 824 S. Wabash Ave. – Not only do they have scrumptious treats but they offer chocolate making classes!
* Biagio Fine Chocolate – Washington DC
o 1904 18th St. NW – Their focus is dark chocolate but they have it all!
* Marcie Blaine
o 108 South 13th Street – Beautiful selection of artisanal chocolates … Check out the Hot Lolita chocolate.
o You can order online too! –

If you don’t live near any of these delectable shops never fear you can order chocolate online from these great places!

* Liddabit Sweets
o Check out their homemade candy bars (We suggest the Passion Spice bar… you won’t be disappointed!)
* Fix Sugar
o Check out this site to try the Sir Francis Bacon Chocolate Peanut Brittle. It might seem like an odd mix, but don’t be fooled, it’s amazing!
* Charles Chocolates
o Their Salty-Sweet Cashew Bar has been selected as a 2011 Good Food Awards Winner, so be sure to try it out.

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
